Our People

Dr. Melissa Perotti, D.C.

Dr. Perotti was born in Alaska and grew up on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. After attending the 1000 hour massage therapy program at Hawaiian Island School of Body Therapies, she attended UH-West Hawaii. After completing her prerequisites for chiropractic college, she was off to California. In October of 2000 she started chiropractic college at Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) in Hayward, California. All through college, she worked as a licensed massage therapist continually gaining knowledge and palpation skills. After graduation from LCCW in March of 2004, she moved to Reno, NV and began working as an associate with another chiropractor. This was valuable time spent gaining the skills and knowledge of having a successful family chiropractic clinic. In November of 2006 Dr. Perotti proudly opened her office in North West Reno. Since opening, this office has become a fun, busy family practice, with an emphasis on sports. Dr. Perotti is the chiropractor for our very own Reno Aces and is also a Designated State of Nevada Impairment Rater for Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) ratings.

Dr. Tilene Figeroa, D.C.

Dr. Figeroa was born and raised in Reno, NV where she attended the University of Nevada, Reno. During her time at UNR she was hired as a receptionist at a local chiropractic office. It was then she discovered her calling to be a Chiropractor. After graduating from UNR she took a short break from school to stay home with her new born for a year before moving to Portland, Oregon to attend the University of Western States where she completed her chiropractic studies in March of 2015. During her last year in Chiropractic school she was able to complete an internship at Integrated Brain Centers in Englewood, CO with Dr. Shane Steadman, an expert in chiropractic neurology and functional medicine. In April 2015, Dr. Figeroa returned to practice in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA until recently when she felt a calling to return home. During her time in practice she has been incredibly blessed with the experience of working as an associate in a unique office in Portland as well as having the opportunity to build her own northwest mobile chiropractic practice with a focus in functional medicine and nutrition. She continues to expand her scope of education in chiropractic functional neurology and functional medicine to be a well rounded chiropractic physician. Dr. Figeroa is also certified to perform DOT Physicals. With a background in dance and body building as well, she has a passion for sports rehab and performance optimization along with sports nutrition and is excited to serve our community.

Dr. Rachel Selnick, D.C.

Dr. Rachel grew up in Southern California. Family is of the utmost importance to her and she is moving to Reno from Santa Cruz, Ca to live closer to her sister! She found chiropractic as she was going to school for her BA in Psychology and took an Anthropological Alternative Healing Methods class that opened her mind up to all the amazing fields within natural health care. She later worked as a Chiropractic Assistant to learn more about the profession & within 3 short weeks of seeing amazing healing journeys and learning about the powerful healing potential of the human body she knew she had found her life’s purpose.

This inspired her to change her major to pre-med and go to school to become a Chiropractor so that she could offer this type of healing to her community. She attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, Ca & graduated in 2018. During her time in school she obtained extensive training in Pediatric & Prenatal care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is Webster Certified for prenatal care.

Although Dr. Rachel’s specialty is in Pediatric & Prenatal care, she is very passionate about helping everyone from minutes old to 120! Her gentle adjusting techniques give her the ability to work with all ages in a way that honors the body while correcting its misalignments.

Monika, Massage Therapist

I was born and raised in Hungry. After high school, I was a professional handball player and my team had a massage therapist. Nothing felt better on my tired aching muscles than a massage. When I finished with handball, I decided to pursue a career in massage therapy. I attended massage school in Hungry with a focus in the energy work known as Prana-Nadi. I learned the basic technique of medical, deep tissue, and sport massage. In 1995 I moved to Reno, Nevada and continued taking classes for massage. I specialize in sports massage, deep tissue, prenatal, neuro-muscular massage, hot stone, face lifting, lymphatic drainage, carpal tunnel, and sciatica.
